CLEAR EXPECTATIONS, FROM THE START

Terms of Use

For the website, inquiries, and the steps before a build.

Effective September 11, 2026 · Last updated September 12, 2026

A useful place to start.

Use the tools to develop your idea and introduce your shop. Demo activity is only a demonstration. A real build needs its own agreed scope and terms.

01Using ManufactureShop

These Terms of Use cover your use of ManufactureShop.com, its inquiry forms, project brief tools, and interactive demo. By using these features, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

You must be at least 18 to submit an inquiry or arrange a paid order. If you act for a business, you must be authorized to do so. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@manufactureshop.com.

02What the site offers today

The site currently helps you explore a custom build, submit a private project request with files, contact our team, and try example buyer and shop workflows. Public self-registration and public project posting are not open. Owner-invited buyers and approved shops can use a private workspace for shared project requirements, quotes, accepted orders and progress. Read the workspace agreement before activating an invited account.

Demo shops, projects, quotes, prices, messages, and orders are fictional examples. Demo actions do not contact a shop, place an order, reserve capacity, or take payment. Demo changes are temporary. The main project form saves a private request for our team and provides a reference number. It does not publish a project or automatically send it to shops. A downloaded draft is an unsent copy until you submit the form.

A shop inquiry is an introduction, not an application approval, a published listing, or a promise of future work. We will discuss any listing or commercial relationship separately.

03Your inquiries and your work

Provide accurate information and share only content you own or have permission to use. Do not submit passwords, payment card details, sensitive identity documents, or client drawings you are not authorized to share. Project files are private to our team; remove sensitive metadata before uploading. Use public portfolio links for a shop introduction.

You keep ownership of your descriptions and work. By sending an inquiry or portfolio link, you allow us to review it, use it to respond, and discuss the next steps with you. This does not give us permission to publish your portfolio or create a public shop profile. Publication requires a separate agreement.

We save the project, contact, or business information you submit in a private inquiry record so our team can review it and follow up. We send a receipt by email. See our Privacy page for details about files, essential cookies, browser drafts, and retention. The form does not subscribe you to marketing. Contact us if you need to correct information or request its deletion; records that must be kept for an existing transaction or legal obligation may need to be retained.

04Before a build is agreed

Website examples and draft briefs are not binding quotes. Before committing to a build, the buyer and shop should agree in writing on the scope, quantity, dimensions, materials and grades, thicknesses, finish, tolerances, permitted substitutions, price, applicable taxes and fees, schedule, delivery or installation, approval steps, warranty, and cancellation terms.

Independent shops are responsible for the work they agree to perform. A shop’s own description of its equipment, experience, insurance, or certification is not verification by ManufactureShop. Ask for the evidence your project needs.

Any change to an agreed scope, material, price, or schedule should be documented and accepted by the affected parties before that change is carried out. A separately agreed order governs the specific build; these website terms do not replace that agreement.

05Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Payment is available only where an approved payment request has been separately arranged and payment processing has been enabled. A demo quote cannot be paid.

Review the agreed scope, total, payment schedule, and cancellation and refund terms before approving a payment. Any applicable platform fees must be disclosed before you commit. Card payments use the payment provider’s hosted checkout and are also subject to that provider’s applicable terms. ManufactureShop does not store your card number.

Payment does not mean a build has been delivered and does not create an escrow arrangement. Cancellation and refund requests depend on the specific order terms and applicable law. Contact order support promptly about a payment or order issue. These terms do not remove rights you have under applicable law.

06Respectful, responsible use

Do not use the site for fraud, unlawful projects, harassment, infringement, or misleading claims. Do not upload or link to malicious content, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the site, or bypass protections on forms and payment links.

The ManufactureShop name, site design, and original site content may not be reused in a way that implies our endorsement or misrepresents your relationship with us. You may use the site and download your own briefs and inquiry copies for their intended purposes. Third-party work belongs to its respective owner.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

07Availability and expectations

We aim to keep the site useful and accurate, but features may change or be unavailable. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, that a suitable shop will be available, or that an inquiry will result in an order.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website tools and demo are provided as available, without a promise that they will meet every project requirement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or changes an express commitment in a separate order agreement.

External portfolio and service links are controlled by their respective operators. Review their terms and privacy information when using those services.

08Changes and getting in touch

We may update these terms as the service develops and will show the updated date here. Changes apply going forward; they do not automatically rewrite an already agreed order. Material new account or marketplace features may require additional terms before you use them.

For questions about the site, your inquiry, or these terms, contact support@manufactureshop.com or use our contact page.
